Two people including a handicapped person and a middle aged person died under suspicious circumstances

Auraiya, June 18 (HS). Two people including a handicapped person and a middle aged person died at different places in the district's Phaphund police station area. It is suspected that they died due to heat and sunstroke. The police have sent the body of the young man for postmortem. The family of the middle aged person has refused to get the postmortem of the man done.

Seeing a 35 year old youth lying unconscious on the roadside in Devarpur village of Phaphund police station area, passersby ignored him thinking he was a drunkard. His condition worsened due to heat as he lay on the road for a long time. Police reached the spot after getting information from people and took him to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. The deceased has been identified as Aditya son of Ramakant resident of Bhonakpur police station Phaphund. Police has sent the body for post mortem.

The second incident took place near the village Badhua on the Phaphund Pata Road where 50-year-old handicapped Pratap, a resident of Khanpur village, was returning home after shopping from Phaphund. On the way, his health deteriorated and he sat in a garden and fell unconscious. The villagers recognized him and informed his family members. The family members who reached the spot were taking him to the hospital but he died on the way. The deceased was living with his daughter Baby in Khanpur village for the last 10 years. The sudden death has created an uproar amongst the family members. The family members have suspected that the death may be due to heat and sunstroke.

In this regard, regarding the young man found in Devarpur village, SHO Ganga Das Gautam said that the young man died due to alcohol and heat. Postmortem has been done and he has no information about the middle-aged man who died in Khanpur village.
