To reduce the increasing traffic pressure of Sagar city, two new bus stands with full facilities have been created through Smart City, in which the main bus stand is being displaced, which will make the city's traffic accessible and convenient and provide convenience to the city residents. Along with transportation, people will also get clean environment. The operation of the newly constructed bus stand number-1 located near the RTO office and the newly constructed bus stand number-2 located on Bhopal Road is being started from today (Monday).
Collector Deepak Arya said that in the city, except special vehicles like city bus, school bus, ambulance, government vehicles and vehicles permitted by City Magistrate Sagar, the operation of all the passenger buses ends from Dr. Harisingh Gaur main bus stand and private bus stand. From today, the newly constructed bus stand will be served from numbers 1 and 2. Passenger buses of all routes will be operated from the newly constructed bus stand complex located near the RTO office.
The Collector has appealed to all the residents of the district to travel via buses from the new bus stand located at Rajghat Road and the new bus stand located at Moti Nagar from today to reach their respective destinations. He said that now the operation of buses has been completely stopped from the old main bus stand near Kanya Mahavidyalaya. With the opening of both the new bus stands, new employment opportunities will be created and passengers for electronic and other vehicles will also be easily available.
