Two Naxalites arrested with weapons in Latehar


Latehar, Jharkhand, July 8 (HS). Latehar police achieved a major success by arresting two JJMP Naxalites along with weapons. Police have also recovered four country-made guns and a live bullet from the arrested Naxalites. The arrested Naxalites include Abdul Qadri, a resident of Patratu village under Garu police station area of ​​Latehar district and Rahul Yadav, a resident of Balumath police station area.

While addressing a press conference on Monday, Latehar SP Anjani Anjan said that the police had received secret information that some Naxalites were gathering in the Patratu forest of Garu police station area to carry out some incident. After this information, under the direction of Mahuadanr DSP Himanshu Chandra Manjhi, police station in-charge Sonu Kumar formed a team and conducted a raid. Seeing the police, the Naxalites started running away from the spot. Police caught two of these Naxalites. While other Naxalites managed to escape by taking advantage of the forest. On the information given by the arrested Naxalites, the police conducted a raid and recovered four guns and a live bullet.

SP said that according to the information received from the arrested Naxalites during interrogation, these people had recently joined the JJMP Naxalite organization. The arrested Naxalites have also given many other important information to the police. On the basis of which the police is also planning further action.
