Lucknow, 01 April (HS). On Monday morning, an uncontrolled container hit an auto and a tempo outside the gate of PGI Hospital located in PGI police station area. Two people died and 10 people were injured in the accident. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, sent the dead bodies for post-mortem and admitted the injured to the hospital.
According to the police, those who died in the accident have been identified as Rituraj Chaudhary (62), a resident of Motihari in Bihar state, and Krishna (25), a resident of Jharkhand state. The injured are Nathuni Ram, Rajkumari, Vansh Gopal Singh, Shiv Prakash Singh, Omprakash Yadav, Pritam Singh, Anjali, Alok Kumar, Nityanand Goswami, who hail from Jharkhand and Bihar states. Apart from this, Manoj, resident of Manak Nagar, Lucknow is injured. The police have sent the bodies for post-mortem and are interrogating the container driver by taking them into custody. Initial information is that the tempo driver suddenly took a turn and the container driver could not apply brakes, due to which the accident occurred.
