Two friends died in collision between Activa and Scorpio, both were returning home from college

Mullanpur Dakha: Two young friends riding an Activa near Haveli on the Ludhiana-Ferozepur main road were seriously injured when they were hit by a Scorpio vehicle. Both were admitted to DMC Hospital, Ludhiana for treatment. The friends died.

Female Sub Inspector Kirandeep Kaur, who is investigating the case, said that Husanpreet Kaur (18), daughter of Gurdayal Singh, resident of village Pamal, and her friend Manveer Kaur (17), daughter of Harmeet Singh, who were pursuing B.Sc. Computer course. When both of them were going to the village on Activa after leave from GTB College, Dakha and College, when both of them reached near the mansion, a Scorpio vehicle coming from Moga hit them from behind. He was seriously injured.

After receiving information about the accident, Dakha police reached the spot and admitted the injured girls to DMC Hospital, Ludhiana, where they died. The police have taken action on the basis of the statements of the father of deceased Hussanpreet Kaur.
