Mathura, September 10 (HS). Two women devotees from Delhi and Bareilly fainted due to crowd pressure at Barsana Radharani temple on Tuesday evening. The guards and policemen deployed at the temple took the women trapped in the crowd to the health camp. After treatment, both of them recovered and went with their families.
On Tuesday evening, on the eve of Ashtami, the pressure of the crowd inside the temple had increased. 67-year-old Jagdamba, wife of Ramgopal, resident of Sonia Vihar, Delhi, fainted. The doctor posted at the temple was not present. The unconscious woman was treated by ward boy Hansraj by giving her ORS solution. Shortly after that, Akanksha, wife of Satyam, resident of Surendra Nagar, fainted due to the increasing crowd during the darshan. She was checked up by doctor Ravi Paliwal and pharmacist Jitendra Sharma. After first aid, both the women recovered and went with their families. The news of these two women falling unconscious created a stir in the health department.
