Assam Director General of Police GP Singh informed the media today that Dhemaji police, led by Additional Superintendent of Police Anurag Sharma of Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police, conducted an operation to destroy illegal wildlife trade in Kemi village of the district. .
An elephant tusk weighing 15.20 kg was recovered during the operation. The Director General of Police has congratulated STF and Dhemaji Police for this big success. He said that the teeth of those who cut elephant tusks will be cut sour.
