Two elephant tusks weighing 15.20 kg recovered from Dhemaji

Dhemaji (Assam), 11 April (HIST). Dhemaji police, while taking action against hunting of wild animals, recovered two elephant tusks weighing more than 15 kg. Assam Director General of Police GP Singh informed the media today that Dhemaji police, led by Additional Superintendent of Police Anurag Sharma of Special Task Force (STF) of Assam Police, conducted an operation to destroy illegal wildlife trade in Kemi village of the district. .
