RS Pura, March 9 (Hindustan Reporter) With the aim of promoting animal husbandry in Jammu division, a two-day livestock fair was organized on Saturday by Jammu and Kashmir Dairy Farming Association in collaboration with Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu, at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra grounds of RS Pura. On this occasion, District Development Council District Jammu Chairman Bharat Bhushan participated in the program as the chief guest. He appreciated the Animal Husbandry Department and the organization for organizing the two-day fair.
Earlier, Director of Animal Husbandry Department, Dr. Shubhra Sharma expressed her views and said that the Animal Husbandry Department is continuously making efforts to promote animal husbandry and the Livestock Fair is also one of those efforts. On this occasion, Pradhan Sandeep Singh Chib said that with the aim of making the farmers living in rural areas aware about animal husbandry, this two-day livestock fair has been organized in which different companies related to animal husbandry have set up stalls for the farmers.
