Saharsa, 31 August (HS). The two-day birth anniversary celebration of Baba Ganinatha concluded with great pomp on Saturday at Sant Shiromani Baba Ganinatha Govind Dham Balhadih located in Kahra block of the district. On the last day of the birth anniversary celebration, Sunari Puja, 14 Devan Puja, Shringar Puja and Havan Yagna were performed. Thousands of devotees participated in it with devotion.
On the last day of Baba Ganinatha's 92nd birth anniversary celebrations, under the guidance of temple priest Brijmohan Saha, hundreds of people including the host Ramakrishna Saha alias Mohan Saha participated in the special puja and performed havan. Before this, Baba was decorated with fragrant flowers and Sunari puja, Devan puja and mahaarti were performed. On the occasion, women sang Baba's auspicious songs. On Friday night, devotees danced all night long to Baba's folk tale based story and tableau, bhajans, kirtans and Baba's jagran.
State level artists kept the audience engaged throughout the night by presenting one better than the other bhajans. After the immersion on Saturday, the devotees expressed their joy by applying Rang Utsav Abir Gulal to each other. District President of All India Madhyadeshiya Vaishya Sabha, Ramakrishna Shah alias Mohan Shah said that the glory of Baba Ganinatha is boundless. It is because of him that people get progress. Today, Ganinatha Dham Balhadih has become a powerful medium to connect with loved ones with a pure Satvik mind in the name of Baba Ganinatha Govind ji Maharaj. It is the result of immense faith and dedication of the people that today Baba's Ghaam is taking the form of a sea of people.
