Two cyber thugs arrested with cash, passbook, Aadhaar card and other fake certificates

Saharsa, May 22 (HS). Two smart cyber thugs have been arrested by the cyber police station under the Cyber ​​Crime Control Act in the district. Fake certificates, Aadhaar cards, passbooks and electronic equipment have also been recovered from them.

DSP Ajit Kumar gave this information to the reporters by organizing a press conference at Sadar police station on Wednesday. He told that secret information was received that some people in the house of Mohammad Naushad near Dumrail Qadir Chowk under Sadar police station area are making fake death certificates through electronic equipment and withdrawing money illegally under the scheme of Labor Department.

He said that to verify the above information and take necessary action, police officers and personnel of Cyber ​​Police Station, Sadar Police Station and District Intelligence Unit raided the house of Mohammad Naushad near Dumrail Qadir Chowk and found 5-6 people running away from the house. Out of which two persons were caught and some people managed to escape. On asking the name and address of the arrested person, it was revealed as Mohd Naushad, father Mohd Naseer and Punit Kumar, father Bharat Mehta.

When the house of Mohd Naushad was searched, a large number of personal documents of other persons were found in the cupboard inside the house. When a black colour bag was searched from another person Punit Kumar, a large number of personal documents of other persons, a mobile and a seal were recovered and both of them were arrested. Along with this, when the mobile recovered from them was examined, Aadhar card, PAN card, bank account details, ATM card details of many other persons and other valuable documents were found.

During investigation, it was also found that these two arrested persons were illegally withdrawing money under the scheme of Labor Department by making fake death certificates of dead people. In this regard, Cyber ​​​​Police Case, Bhadvi and 66, 66 (D) IT Act were registered. While raids are being conducted to arrest the remaining absconding accused. He said that two mobiles, 118 identity cards, 18 debit cards, 29 e-labor cards. Three seals, one biometric machine, one lakh thirteen thousand 900 rupees in cash, three Ayushman cards, 4 blank check books, one check book, 95 photocopies of Aadhaar card, 41 passbooks, two marriage registration cards, 54 photographs, 6 registrations. Identity cards, 4 PAN cards and photocopy of 17 death certificates were recovered. Police Inspector Deepak Chandra Das, Punam Kumari, Khushboo Kumari, Amar Kumar Singh and armed forces of District Intelligence Unit and Sadar Police Station were present in this raid team.
