Ranchi, August 14 (HS). Police have arrested two criminals in the case of looting Rs 2 lakh 42 thousand from a vegetable trader in Mount Motor Lane of Sukhdev Nagar police station area of Ranchi. The arrested criminals include Rahul Badaik and Bobby Lohra. Both are residents of Sukhdev Nagar police station area. Police have recovered the scooty used in the loot and Rs 8,500 cash from them.
SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said on Wednesday that on August 13, a vegetable vendor was robbed of Rs 2,42,000 by two unknown criminals riding on a scooter near Mount Motor Lane. After this, Bansi Kumar lodged a case in Sukhdev Nagar police station in this regard. Considering the seriousness of the case, a team was formed under the leadership of probationary Deputy Superintendent of Police Dusru Ban Singh. The team took action and arrested two accused.
