Dang News: An incident of a young man's death due to drowning in a check dam has come to light in Machhali village of Waghai taluk of Dang district. When two brothers of Machhali village were passing through the check dam built on the ghat after grazing their cattle, suddenly the water level rose and one brother died due to both the cattle getting trapped in the water. In this regard, the police have registered a case and started further action.
According to the information received in this regard, two cousins Azad Jadav and Chandrakant Jadav, living in Machhali village of Waghai taluk of Dang district, had taken the cattle to graze in the forest on Monday. During this, while returning, the flow of water from the Khokharchond check dam built on the ravine suddenly increased, then both of them got tensed.
In which Pashu and Azad reached the bank of the ravine but Chandrakant was swept away in the water. So as per the information given by the family members, during the search his body was found in the water of the ravine on Tuesday. In this regard, the police have registered a case and started further action.
