Two Congress councillors were kidnapped with the intention of taking over Bhairamgarh Nagar Panchayat – Vikram Mandavi

Bijapur, June 28 (HS). Congress' Bijapur MLA Vikram Shah Mandavi has accused the BJP of kidnapping and threatening his Congress councilor in a press conference held at Congress Bhavan on Friday. He said that on Thursday morning, BJP workers kidnapped two Congress councilors of Bhairamgarh Nagar Panchayat with the intention of capturing Bhairamgarh Nagar Panchayat, and the third councilor was threatened. This information was also given to Bhairamgarh police station.

MLA Vikram Shah Mandavi accused the BJP and said that Congress is in power with majority in Bhairamgarh Nagar Panchayat. But after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in the state, the BJP is stealing public opinion and kidnapping and threatening before bringing a no-confidence motion in Bhairamgarh Nagar Panchayat. He said that the BJP is trying to steal public opinion and forcibly break into the Congress-ruled Nagar Panchayat. If the Chhattisgarh government does not take action on this or does not take this matter seriously, then the Congress will be forced to launch a fierce agitation in the coming days.
