West Singhbhum (Jharkhand), August 20 (HS). Two bogies of a goods train derailed near Rajkharsawan railway station under Chakradharpur railway division of South Eastern Railway on Tuesday afternoon. Although, there were no casualties due to the derailment of the goods train, but due to this, traffic on the railway track remained disrupted for some time.
As soon as the information was received, railway officials reached the spot and started work to repair the track. The reason for the derailment of the goods train could not be ascertained.
The incident took place near line number 13 of the upline of the Rajkharsawan-Chaibasa railway section, about 200 meters ahead of the Rajkharsawan railway station. As soon as the goods train derailed, the local railway officials were informed about it through a siren.
After getting information about the derailment of the goods train, railway officials, RPF and other workers reached the spot. Work is being done on a war footing to bring the derailed goods train back on track. No clear information about this incident has been given by the railways so far.
