Under the Chief Minister Bal Hriday Yojana in the district, Altamas and Dheeraj of Tedhagachh block of the district, suffering from congenital heart disease, have been successfully operated in Ahmedabad, now both have been sent to IGIMS Patna on Wednesday by ambulance for routine checkup.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that more than 60 children born with holes in their hearts have undergone free successful surgery in the district. He said that under the Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Yojana included in RBSK, children suffering from heart disease are being treated properly in the district and the affected children are also getting healthy. Which is the result of the positive initiative of the RBSK team. For this, the RBSK team deployed in the district from PHC to district level hospitals is not only identifying such children by visiting the area but is also ensuring their free proper treatment. So that the affected child can get the benefit of the facilities available in government health institutions in a convenient manner, so that people's confidence in the facilities available in government health institutions increases and they can get information about the available facilities. At the same time, during this time, information about the facilities available in government health institutions is also being given and people are also being motivated to take advantage, so that more and more people can take advantage of government health facilities in a convenient manner and stay away from unnecessary troubles.
District Program Manager Dr. Munajim told that the treatment of both the children is being done absolutely free under the Chief Minister Bal Hriday Yojana under the Seven Nischay Program. In this, the patient child and one of his parents have been taken to Ahmedabad at the government's own expense and provided proper treatment. According to him, both the children had a hole in their heart since birth, which was affecting their normal life. His father told that the children used to have frequent fever and would get tired quickly. He said that the children going to Ahmedabad for treatment were screened at IGIC. Where it was confirmed that they had a hole in their heart. After treatment, they will also be followed up.
Civil surgeon Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that under the National Child Health Program, children up to 18 years of age are sent to IGIMS, AIIMS Patna PMCH in case of any serious problem. At the same time, more than 20 children of the district have undergone successful heart surgery at Satya Sai Hospital in Ahmedabad. ANMs included in the National Child Health Program team of the district measure the weight of the children, their length, head and feet etc. Pharmacists prepare the details of the screened children in the register. Under the National Child Health Program, all children are focused on four main problems. These include defects at birth, deficiency disease, development delay and disability etc. All types of diseases or disabilities related to this are identified and treated.
