In Canada, on Monday, two gangsters Tanner Fox and Joel Lopez pleaded guilty to the murder of Ripudaman Singh Malik in July 2022. This revelation has exposed the allegations that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau had made against India. Trudeau tried to blame India for the killing of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar without any evidence.
Ripudaman Singh Malik was accused of the Air India Kanishka bomb blast in 1985. Both his murder and Nijjar's murder have been linked to their rivalry and gangster connections supported by the Trudeau government. Nijjar was shot dead in the parking lot of a Gurudwara in Surrey. Trudeau blamed India for this murder without any evidence. Due to which there has been tension between India and Canada for a long time.
The accused confessed to their crime on 21 October
Canadian police also investigated India's role in Malik's murder. Canadian media had given this information in May last year. On October 21, Tanner Fox and Jose Lopez pleaded guilty in British Columbia Supreme Court. Interestingly, both of them are not of Indian origin and Canadian police say that Indian diplomats had not contacted them directly.
Malik praised PM Modi's work
Malik was acquitted in the Kanishka bomb case in 2005 due to lack of evidence. He wrote a letter appreciating the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and thanking him for opening the Kartarpur Corridor and providing justice in the 1984 anti-Sikh riot case. It can be assumed that Malik's pro-India stance might have angered Khalistanis like Nijjar.
There was a controversy regarding the printing of Sri Guru Granth Sahib.
According to reports, there was a dispute between Malik and Nijjar over the right to print Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Malik got the rights to publish it in Canada, which angered Nijjar and Moninder Singh Boyle, the former president of a gurudwara in British Columbia.
Terrorist connection with Nizar's Arshdeep Dalla and Lakhbir Singh Sandhu
Gangster Khalistan ties are nothing new in Canada. Said to have close links with Niger gangsters and Khalistan terrorists Arshdeep Dalla and Lakhbir Singh Sandhu alias Landa. India has declared both of them terrorists.
It is clear that the Trudeau regime in Canada was trying to blame India for Nijjar's murder, while it is very possible that Nijjar was murdered in retaliation for Malik's murder. Canadian agencies should conduct an impartial investigation and Trudeau should avoid blame politics.
