Two buses fell into the river due to landslide in Nepal, more than 60 passengers feared dead


Nepal landslide : A major tragedy has unfolded in Nepal. Two buses carrying about 63 passengers are reported to have been swept away into the Trishuli river after a massive landslide on the Madan Ashrit Highway in central Nepal. It is said that there were a total of 63 passengers including the drivers in both the buses. Chitwan Chief District Officer Indradev Yadav confirmed the incident and said that according to preliminary information, the buses were swept away into the river due to the landslide at around 3:30 am.

Search operation is facing difficulty due to rain

According to the information, heavy rains at the site of the incident are causing a lot of problems in the rescue and search operation. Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has expressed grief over this incident by tweeting. He said that more than 60 people are missing after a bus fell into the river after being hit by a landslide on the Narayangarh-Mughalin road.
