Dera Baba Nanak On the day of Holi, two brothers of Pakhoke Tahli Sahib, adjacent to the historical town of Dera Baba Nanak, were beaten to death by the youth of the village, due to which one brother died, while the other was seriously injured. In this regard, Dera Baba Nanak police station has taken the body of the deceased youth in its custody and sent it to Civil Hospital Batala for post-mortem. Giving information in this regard, SHO Jaspal Singh of Police Station Dera Baba Nanak said that Raju Masih and Vijay Masih of village Pakhoke Tahli Sahib were coming towards Kartarpur corridor on a motorcycle. He had a dispute with the two brothers regarding money transactions.
On the day of Holi, Gurjeet Singh stopped him on the way and hit Raju Masih and Kirch twice, one of which hit him on the chest while Gurjeet also hit his brother Vijay. Kirch died and both the youths were taken to hospital but Raju Masih died. He said that action is being taken by the police of Dera Baba Nanak police station on the basis of the statements of the family members of the deceased youth, while the body of Raj Masih has been sent to Civil Hospital Batala for post-mortem. Vijay Masih was killed and his brother seriously injured in an ambush on the day of Holi.
