Mumbai: Thane’s crime branch and anti-narcotics cell seized Rs 1 lakh in two separate operations. Medicines worth more than Rs 11 lakh were seized. Two accused involved in this case were arrested.
According to details, in the first case, on December 11, 2024, acting on a tip-off, the Anti-Narcotics Cell arrested Mohammad Abdul Rehman Syed near Khardigaon Lake on the road from Khardigaon to Diwa in Mumbai.

The Crime Branch registered a case against the accused under sections 8(c) and 22(c) of the NDPS and relevant provisions of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 at Sheel Daighar police station.
