Ranchi, 06 November (Hindu). Ranchi Police is in alert mode regarding the assembly elections. In the same sequence, during checking of vehicles near Deepak Dhaba on Ranchi-Ramgarh Road, ganja was seized from Shubham bus.
Rural SP Sumit Aggarwal said on Wednesday that during checking at the check post, Subham bus was checked in which about 09.388 kg of illegal ganja was seized.
Two accused Rajneesh Kumar and Vikash Yadav have been arrested in the case. Ganja, two mobile phones, two debit cards, Rs 10020 cash have been recovered from them. The bus has also been seized. The arrested accused told that they were loading this ganja in Shubham bus from Khadgarha bus stand and taking it to Banaras. BDO Kameshwar Bedia, police station incharge Ormanjhi Anil Kumar Tiwari Chandradev Singh, Vinay Kumar Subodh Kumar and other policemen were involved in the checking.
