Varanasi, 29 July (HS). On the second Monday of the month of Sawan, devotees are waiting in long queues to get darshan of Gauri Shankar (Shankar-Parvati) Shringar in the golden court of Kashipuradhipati. According to the temple management, till 6 pm in the court, 2 lakh 43 thousand, 067 devotees had done darshan pujan. On the second Monday, a grand tableau of Baba Vishwanath's 'Shiv-Parvati' form has been decorated in the sanctum sanctorum. Despite such a huge number of devotees, the arrangements and security arrangements are tight inside and outside Vishwanath Dham.
There is an unbroken sequence of darshan and abhishek from dawn to late evening. There is a provision of tableau darshan from all around the sanctum sanctorum in the court and water abhishek from outside in the argha. Due to sufficient space, there was no situation of stampede or fighting throughout the day. Steel zigzag railing has been arranged in the Dham for darshan and worship. While on one side the red carpet has been laid to welcome the devotees of Shiva, on the other side the administrative officials also showered flowers on the devotees of Bhole. A queue of devotees had started forming since Sunday night for the darshan of Baba Shri Kashi Vishwanath.
