Two accused of gang rape sentenced to life imprisonment – ​​News India Live | News India

Firozabad, 4 September (HS). The court has sentenced two accused of gang rape to life imprisonment. The court has imposed a fine on both of them. If they do not pay the fine, they will have to undergo additional punishment.

A religious event was held in a village in Thana Tundla area in 2021. A feast was held at the end. A woman had gone to eat the feast. During that time, two men raped the woman in turns in a room. The woman lodged a case against Waheed alias Chhote son Munna and Mahendra son Charan Singh in the police station. After investigation, the police filed a chargesheet against both of them in the court.

The case was tried in the Additional Sessions Judge, Special Judge SC ST Court. The court held both of them guilty on the basis of the testimony of witnesses and evidence.

The court has sentenced Waheed and Mahendra to life imprisonment. A fine of one lakh rupees has been imposed on both of them. If the fine is not paid, both of them will have to undergo additional punishment. Special Public Prosecutor Narendra Solanki and court advocate Head Constable Harendra Sharma have played a special role in getting the punishment for both of them.
