Firozabad, March 01 (Hindustan Reporter) Eka police station and Fariha police team have arrested two vicious accused in an encounter on Thursday midnight. The accused were admitted to the hospital after being shot in the leg. The arrested accused had attacked the police party.
Additional Superintendent of Police Rural Ran Vijay Singh said on Friday that police teams from both the police stations were on patrol in the area late Thursday night. While checking near Farida Mode, the police team saw two suspicious persons coming on a motorcycle. When the police tried to stop the motorcycle riders, they started firing. The accused tried to escape by firing at the police team, but the police laid siege and caught the miscreants in an encounter.
Accused Wasim and Pintu alias Pintoli were injured by police bullets. Both of them were shot in their legs below the knee. Both the accused were arrested. Two pistols with 06 live cartridges and a motorcycle have been recovered from the accused. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment under police custody. Their criminal history is being searched.
