Moradabad, July 11 (HS). Civil Lines police station arrested two named accused on Thursday for shooting Satyam, a resident of Deendayal Nagar in the police station area, in the stomach. Late Saturday night, the incident of firing took place in the police station area during a liquor party between friends over indecent comments on the girlfriend. Both the arrested accused were produced in the court today, from where they were sent to jail. Kapil Diwakar, a resident of Avantika Colony of Civil Lines and his brother-in-law Satyam work as delivery boys in a food supplier company. Akash, a resident of Linepaar of Majhola and other youths also work with them.
On 6th July at around 2 am, Akash's friend Manish called him and told him that his friends Samarpal, Deepak Sharma, Harsh Yadav, Sanjeev Rana and Shalabh were in Deendayal Nagar. He should come to Deendayal Nagar with Satyam. Akash and Satyam reached the house mentioned by Manish. A liquor party was going on there. During this time, a dispute broke out between the youths over lewd comments on the girlfriend. During this time, Shalabh shot Satyam in the stomach with a pistol. After this incident, there was a stampede at the spot. Injured Satyam was admitted to the district hospital.
Police Circle Officer Civil Lines Arpit Kapoor said that Shalabh Kasana, resident of Ladawali of Police Station Chhajlat and Manish Kumar, resident of Dayanathpur were arrested on Thursday in the case of Satyam being shot in the stomach. On Thursday evening, both the accused were presented in the court from where they were sent to the district jail.
