Pooja Khedkar alleges harassment: Trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, who has been embroiled in controversies for the past few days, has accused Pune Collector Suhas Divas of harassment. Police sources gave this information on Tuesday evening. Khedkar, a 2023 batch IAS officer, has made this allegation after returning from training in Washim. Suhas Divas is the same officer on whose complaint Pooja Khedkar was transferred from Pune to Washim and news of Khedkar's affair was leaked to the media.
The government on Tuesday suspended the district training programme of controversial IAS officer Pooja Khedkar, who has been accused of cheating after being selected in the civil services exam, and asked her to report to the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration by July 23.
Pooja allegedly described herself as physically handicapped and from the OBC community. Khedkar is also accused of misuse of privilege during his posting in Pune. The officer said that the academy has decided to recall him for further necessary action.
A letter written by Maharashtra Additional Chief Secretary Nitin Gadre said that the academy has decided to suspend Khedkar's district training program and recall him immediately for further necessary action. The letter said that Khedkar has been relieved from the District Training Program of the Government of Maharashtra. You are directed to report to the academy before July 23, 2024 in any case.
Meanwhile, Dr Rajendra Webley, dean of Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital, Pimpri, said, Khedkar had applied for disability certification in 2022 regarding her right knee. She came here for a medical check-up and was tested by several departments. He further said that it was found that seven per cent of Khedkars have locomotor disability. The certificate issued on August 24, 2022 states that Khedkar has seven per cent disability in her knees.
