  • Vitamin C helps in faster absorption of iron in the body.
  • In order for iron to be absorbed well in the body and the iron level to increase rapidly, you should cook food in iron utensils.
  • By cooking food in iron utensils, the iron present in the food gets mixed with the food and the level of iron in the body increases quickly and easily.

People often take tea and coffee for breakfast. But, by doing this the body is not able to absorb the iron present in the food.
The caffeine present in tea and coffee prevents the absorption of iron in the body. Therefore, do not consume tea or coffee with food.
