  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice

How to make Dal Dhokli

step 1: First wash the tuvar dal and put turmeric, salt, water and tuvar dal in a pressure cooker and boil it till 3 whistles and then add some water and blend it.

Step-2: Now add flour, salt, turmeric, chili powder, oil in a bowl and mix.

Step-3: Now add water little by little and prepare dough like roti dough.

Step-4: Now add boiled potato pulp, turmeric, coriander seeds, garam masala, salt, powdered sugar, lemon juice, ginger-chilli paste and green coriander in a bowl and mix.

Step-5: Now make small balls of the prepared stuffing and make balls of the prepared dough and place the woven balls of stuffing like puri on the plate and pack it.

Step-6: Now heat ghee in a pan and add mustard seeds, peanuts, cashews, sweet neem leaves, dried red chillies, asafoetida, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander seeds, tomatoes and fry.

Step-7: Now add mixed tuvar dal, prepared dhokli, jaggery, lemon juice, garam masala, garnish with coriander, cook well and serve.
