If there is no faith then there is nothing.'

Foreign Minister met PM Shahbaz before the meeting

In which the trade and economic agenda of SCO will be discussed. There will be lunch after the meeting at 2:30. Jaishankar will leave for India from Pakistan at 4 pm.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who went to Pakistan to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit, has opened the door for China and Pakistan. Addressing the SCO summit, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has raised the issue of violation of Indian sovereignty due to the Pakistan-China CPEC project.

CPEC signals respect for sovereignty

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that cooperation among SCO member countries should be based on mutual respect and sovereign equality. It is important that all countries recognize territorial integrity and sovereignty. For this, genuine partnerships should be formed, and not a unilateral agenda should be adopted. Referring to CPEC, the External Affairs Minister said that SCO cannot progress if we promote certain practices of the world, especially for trade and commercial routes.

It is noteworthy that India's concern regarding CPEC is that this project passes through Pakistan occupied Kashmir, which India considers an integral part of its territory.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said at the SCO summit that the primary objective of the SCO is to counter terrorism, separatism and extremism. Nowadays this is also necessary. This requires honest communication, trust, good neighborliness and commitment to the SCO Charter. The SCO needs to be firm and resolute in dealing with these three evils.

SCO will initiate reform of UNSC

The External Affairs Minister said that SCO should try to ensure that the global organization takes the initiative in reforms. Efforts should be made to increase participation in the United Nations Security Council. It should be made inclusive, transparent, efficient, effective, democratic and accountable.
