The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great pomp all over the world. Many leaders of the world wished the people. Former US President Donald Trump also wished Diwali and condemned the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, on which Vishwa Hindu Parishad national spokesperson Vinod Bansal welcomed Trump's statement. He said, thanks to Trump for raising the voice of Hindus and other minorities oppressed by Islamic jihadi forces in Bangladesh.

Vinod Bansal while appealing to the world leaders said that why are the world leaders silent on the atrocities on minorities in Islamic countries? Tagging the United Nations Human Rights Commission on his social media platform X, he asked, “Where is the Human Rights Commission and why is it silent?”
Hindus are facing oppression
Spokesperson Vinod Bansal further said that Hindus are the only people facing persecution even in countries under the influence of jihadi forces like Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Instead they are also facing denial of their oppression.
What did Trump say?
Trump had said in an earlier post on social media, “I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians and other minorities in Bangladesh.” He said that Bangladeshi minorities are being attacked and looted. Bangladesh is in a state of complete anarchy. Apart from this, Trump accused his rival Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden and said that they have neglected Hindus all over the world and America. Referring to India, Trump said, “In my government, we will strengthen our partnership with India and my good friend Prime Minister Modi.”
I will cut taxes: Trump
Taking aim at Kamala Harris, he said, Kamala Harris will destroy small businesses by increasing taxes, while I will cut taxes. While wishing Diwali, the former President said, “I hope that this festival of lights will ensure the victory of good over evil. Last month there was insurgency in Bangladesh, due to which the situation in the country had worsened.” A mob of people attacked the Hindus, in which many Hindus were killed and many were injured. Due to this, incidents of arson and looting have also come to light in many houses.
