Ranchi-based weather center has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain as well as strong winds and dangerous lightning (thunderstorm) in 15 districts of the state. High alert issued in these 15 districts, dark clouds will prevail

According to the weather forecast, the districts where nature’s fury can be seen include the capital Ranchi, Baba Nagri Deoghar, Dumka, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Jamshedpur (East Singhbhum), West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Giridih, Godda, Pakur and Sahibganj. Movement of clouds has started in these areas since morning and there is a strong possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at many places and heavy rain at some places.

Meteorological Department’s special appeal regarding lightning, do not make this mistake even by mistake

Every year there is huge loss of life and property due to lightning during monsoon in Jharkhand. In view of this, meteorologists have appealed to the general public to take special precautions. The warning clearly states that when the weather is bad or there is lightning, farmers and common citizens should avoid going to the fields. Relief for farming, there will be a huge drop in temperature

While on one hand there is fear of lightning, on the other hand this rain has brightened the faces of farmers of Jharkhand. This rain is being considered as nectar for the crops during the paddy planting season. Due to continuous rains and cold winds, the maximum temperature of the entire state may drop by 3 to 4 degrees Celsius, which will provide great relief to the people who have been facing humidity and heat for the last few days.
