Ludhiana: One passenger died on the spot and about 25 passengers were rushed to the nearby Civil Hospital after an uncontrolled trailer hit a passenger bus parked on the side of GT Road in Eldigo Colony near Jalandhar Bypass in Ludhiana city.
According to the people present on the spot, the accident happened at 3 am on Tuesday. They told that the bus full of passengers was returning to Jammu after visiting Haridwar, which was standing on the side of the road due to puncture. An uncontrolled trailer hit the bus standing there, after which one person died on the spot. The rest were seriously injured and were admitted to the civil hospital. When the police of Salem Tabri police station was contacted in this regard, they said that the matter is being investigated.
