Prayagraj, 05 November (HS). Indian Institute of Information Technology (Triple IT), Allahabad, on the initiative of the IG office, started the training from Tuesday in the fair pandal to provide IT skill and soft skill training to the police personnel in preparation for the Maha Kumbh Mela to be held in the year 2025.
Dr Pankaj Mishra, PRO, Triple IT, said that the objective of this program is to equip the police personnel deployed at the fair with the necessary communication, interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage large crowds and ensure a safe and successful event.
It is noteworthy that, in this context, Prem Kumar Gautam, IG (Prayagraj Range) has provided support for IT services and most of the police personnel of various designations i.e. Additional SP, Inspector, Sub-Inspector, Head Constable etc. who are to be deployed on Kumbh Mela duty. Triple IT was approached regarding the proposed soft skills and behavioral training for them. To which Triple IT Director Prof. Mukul Sharad Sutavane gave his consent and the training program is being implemented with immediate effect.
The Director informed that the objective of this training session is to enrich and enhance the managerial aspects as per Maha Kumbh. Effective communication and skill solutions are vital for police officers in a dynamic and high-pressure environment like the Kumbh Mela. The aim is to equip the police officers with the necessary skills and knowledge so that they can handle the complexities of the Kumbh Mela with professionalism and efficiency.
A team has been formed to provide soft skills training led by O.P., Senior Professor, Triple IT. Vyas is doing. Under his supervision, a team of experts trained hundreds of policemen at the fair pandal on Tuesday. Team member Prof. Neena Kohli gave information on stress management.
Pro. Vyas said the team members will focus on stress management techniques for ground duty personnel of the police. So that they remain calm under pressure and are able to take proactive decisions in critical situations. He said all police personnel involved in the Kumbh Mela will be trained to maintain appropriate body language, calm and respectful behavior and demonstrate emotional intelligence while interacting with the public.
