Mayank got injured for the second time
After the match, Lucknow captain KL Rahul said that he is having side strain. Due to which bowling became difficult. Mayank has already been injured once this season. He played 2 matches and got injured while bowling in the 3rd match and then missed the next few matches. He made a comeback in the match against Mumbai but then got injured. Mayank took 7 wickets in 4 matches and bowled the fastest ball of the season at a speed of 157.8 kmph.
CSK also faced crisis
The season of Chennai Super Kings' experienced fast bowler Deepak Chahar is also coming to an end. Chahar had suffered a muscle strain in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, due to which he was out at the beginning of the match. Chahar, who opened the bowling for Chennai, got injured after bowling just two balls and did not return to the field.
In the report, Chennai Super Kings CEO Kasi Vishwanath said that the team has already left for Dharamshala for the next match but Chahar is staying in Chennai where the investigation is going on.
