Raipur, 2 October (Hindustan Reporter). Today, on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation “Mahatma Gandhi” and former Prime Minister “Lal Bahadur Shastri” in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly premises, Legislative Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma paid floral tributes to them. On this occasion, senior officers and employees of the Legislative Assembly Secretariat also remembered the Father of the Nation “Mahatma Gandhi” and former Prime Minister “Lal Bahadur Shastri” by paying floral tributes to them.
On this occasion, Mahatma Gandhi's famous hymns “Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye” and “Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram” were sung by Anurag Singh, Kundan Chauhan, Laxmikant Sen, Rajesh Chauhan, Ramkumar Yadav and colleagues from the Secretariat. Under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, with the aim of spreading widespread awareness regarding cleanliness, as per the instructions of the General Administration of the State Government, Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma and all the officers/employees donated 01 hour for cleanliness. Besides, Assembly Secretary Dinesh Sharma also administered the 'Cleanliness Oath' to the officers/employees present at the Assembly Secretariat.
