Varanasi, 08 April (HS). Devout devotees of Shiva are saddened by the departure of Shivshankar Chaitanya Bharti Ji Maharaj, an ardent devotee of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Darbar. On Monday, at Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, members of the temple trust, officers and devotees who visit the temple regularly, paid tribute to Bharti Maharaj by keeping silence for two minutes.
During this, the devotees said that their presence will always be felt in the Brahma Muhurta Mangala Aarti of the Dham. The divine saint will be missed. People considered Bharti Maharaj as a walking form of Baba Vishwanath. Devotees said that despite being unwell, he used to come to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple every day in a wheelchair. He used to perform Abhishek continuously in the presence of Baba Vishwanath by sitting in the sanctum sanctorum from 2.30 am to 6 pm.
Let us tell you that Mahadev's devotee Swami Shivshankar Chaitanya Bharti (108) passed away on Sunday evening. He breathed his last at Ramakrishna Mission Hospital in Laksa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also expressed grief over his demise through social media. Shiv seeker Bharti Ji Maharaj was born in Nimeda village of Rajasthan. His place of worship was Kashi. The special thing was that Bharti Ji Maharaj did not meet anyone during his sadhana period. He did not accept any dakshina etc. from anyone. He became detached from the society and accepted Sannyasa religion at the age of 20.
