Tribal Heritage Conclave on 27th and 28th at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University

Ranchi, 24 July (HS). A two-day Tribal Heritage Conclave will be organized on 27th and 28th July at Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU) under the aegis of IQAC and Heritage Society. In this, people from the country's prestigious institutions and universities will shed light on tribal culture and heritage.

In this regard, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Tapan Kumar Shandilya said that today there is a need to save and preserve our tribal culture and its heritage and make the new generation aware of it. This two-day Tribal Heritage Conclave is an effort in that direction, where subject experts of the country will establish mutual discussions and dialogues on history, philosophy, literature, art, tourism and Indian knowledge system, so that many meaningful conclusions can be reached after the end of this conclave.

Those who attended the programme included Dr Dhammaratna, Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, Deemed University, Dr Anant Ashutosh, President, Heritage India, Prof Sanjay Paswan, former Cabinet Minister, Prof Deenbandhu Pandey, Member, Indian Institute of Heritage, Dr Anand Vardhan, BR Ambedkar University, Delhi and Prof Vijay Shankar Shukla, BHU.
