It has come to light that the maximum number of people have visited Kedarnath. From 10 May to 6 June, more than 7 lakh devotees have visited Kedarnath.
There is a long queue of devotees in Kedarnath Dham
There is tremendous enthusiasm among the devotees to visit Bhole Nath. According to the District Magistrate of Rudraprayag, till now a total of 7,10,698 devotees have visited Kedarnath Dham. The important thing is that Kedarnath Dham is the 11th Jyotirlinga. This year the yatra started after the doors of Kedarnath Dham were opened on 10 May.
Registration is mandatory
It is worth noting that registration is mandatory for every devotee before going on a pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham. The Uttarakhand government has made registration mandatory for all devotees coming to the state for the Chardham Yatra. The state's Chief Secretary Radha Raturi had issued an advisory for mandatory registration on May 22. At present, offline registration has been stopped in Haridwar and Rishikesh. At the same time, devotees can now go on the Chardham Yatra by registering online. The government has advised pilgrims to come for the Yatra on the scheduled date only after registration.
More than 19 thousand pilgrims visited
It is worth noting that on June 2, more than 19 thousand devotees had reached Kedarnath Dham for darshan. According to the Uttarakhand government, the total number of devotees visiting the temple has exceeded 6,00,000. According to official figures, a total of 19,484 pilgrims including 12,857 men, 6,323 women and 304 children visited Kedarnath on June 2.
Chardham Yatra closed before winter
The Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand includes Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. Let us tell you that the Yamuna river originates from the Yamunotri glacier in Uttarakhand.
