Tree plantation campaign and drug de-addiction campaign conducted on the third day of seven-day winter camp

Kathua 17 February (Hindustan Reporter) On the third day of the seven-day winter camp, a tree plantation campaign and de-addiction campaign was organized by the NSS unit of Government Degree College, Madheen.

A large number of NSS volunteers actively participated in the tree plantation drive organized at the Primary Health Center, Madheen. Saplings of different varieties were planted in the hospital premises in the presence of Dr. Ashwani Khajuria Medical Officer and other staff-members. Dr Arun Dev Singh NSS Program Officer said that on the third day of the 7 day winter camp, along with the tree plantation drive, the volunteers also participated in an awareness campaign on Drug Free India in the village, to distribute charts and Awareness can be spread by displaying various slogans on display boards.

NSS volunteers also tried to educate the public about the guidelines of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment in this regard and several awareness programs by social NGOs all over India to curb drug users and drug traffickers. Are being organized. The program was managed by Dr. Imran and Dr. Shalu, members of the NSS organizing team. Faculty members Professor Sandeep Chaudhary, Professor Anoop, Dr. Munisha, Dr. Barneet, Dr. Surbhi, Dr. Rajni, Dr. Remiand Preeti also participated in the program.
