People passing through Kiranj toll of Palwal on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway have got a shock. From today i.e. Tuesday, people will have to pay three times more toll at Kiranj toll in Palwal. After the opening of the 24 km stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Mithapur to Sector-65, the Kiranj toll rates of Palwal have been increased three times. The increased rates will come into effect from Tuesday night.
Faridabad. After the opening of the 24 km stretch of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway from Mithapur to Sector-65, Kiranj toll rates in Palwal are going to increase three times. The increased rates will come into effect from Tuesday night.
Now the length of the expressway has increased by 24 kilometers.
Earlier, drivers used to use the expressway from Sector-65 in Faridabad, but now it has started from Mithapur in Delhi. Therefore the length of the expressway has increased by 24 kilometers.
It is also claimed that the section from Delhi’s DND flyover to Mithapur will be opened by March next year. After this this expressway will be ready. From here the journey to Dausa in Rajasthan via Sohna will become faster.
Now instead of Rs 50 you will have to pay Rs 150
Now the one-way fare for a car passing through this toll will be Rs 150, whereas earlier it used to be Rs 50. The monthly car pass, which used to cost Rs 1650 till now, will now cost Rs 5030.
It is noteworthy that last year, NHAI had opened the 26 km stretch of expressway from Sector-65 to Nuh for vehicular movement. Toll rates at Kiranj toll plaza were increased seven months ago in April.

In this regard, NHAI Project Director Dheeraj Singh said that now more people will be able to use the expressway. Its length has also increased. Therefore the rates have been revised. Now drivers will have to pay more toll. The rates will be applicable from Tuesday night.
Entry-exit points of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway Link Road
According to NHAI officials, six entry and exit points are open for vehicles near Sector 65, near Sector 2, near Sector 8, near Sector 14, near Sector 17 and near Sector 30 police line. Commuters can use these entry-exit points to switch to main roads and travel faster on expressways.
