
Jind, May 29 (HS). When the Transport Committee bus conductor asked the young man for a ticket, the young man called his friends and attacked the bus driver and conductor. On this, the Civil Lines police station on Wednesday registered a case against two youths and some others.
Saurabh, a transport committee bus driver from village Indal Kalan, said that he has lodged a complaint with the police in this matter. In the complaint, he said that he had left for Jind with conductor Vijay, a resident of village Kharkpunia, after picking up passengers from Barwala. Ashish boarded the bus at Mirchpur bus stand. When conductor Vijay asked him for a ticket, he refused to take the ticket. They had an argument over this.
Ashish called his friends. Six-seven youths boarded the bus with Bindo from the old Jind bus stand and after some distance, the youths started beating the conductor Vijay. When he protested, they attacked him too. Both of them got badly injured. Due to the protest of passengers and passersby, the accused fled after committing the crime. On the complaint of driver Saurabh, Civil Lines police station has registered a case against Ashish, Sumit and six-seven others and started investigation.
