A high level meeting of the Rural Development Department was called under the chairmanship of Keshav Prasad Maurya. Minister of State for Rural Development, Smt. Vijay Lakshmi Gautam ji attended the meeting., Principal Secretary Rural Development Shri Saurabh Babu, Commissioner and Secretary Shri Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, mission director, Senior executives of technology companies, Senior officials of all public sector and private banks including State Bank of India and other concerned officers were present. In the meeting, ‘Community Partnership’ was signed between HCL Foundation and Government of Uttar Pradesh to accelerate and expand rural transformation. 2031 Important initiatives were also taken towards extending the, This will empower women in rural areas., livelihood promotion, Efforts related to digital inclusion and community development are expected to expand further.

Shri Maurya said that the government is developing a strong partnership between banks, technical institutions, private sector and self-help groups to take the Prime Minister’s resolution of ‘Lakhpati Didi’ to every person in Uttar Pradesh. In the coming times, the village sisters will make their mark as entrepreneurs, producers, service providers and a strong foundation of the rural economy. Sisters of self-help groups are playing an important role in strengthening the rural economy of Uttar Pradesh. The government’s effort is that the women of the village, with their skills and hard work, not only strengthen the economic condition of the family but also give impetus to the economy of their village.
