Mahakumbh 2025 is to be organized in Prayagraj in January and February next year. However, Indian Railways has made complete preparations for Mahakumbh a month in advance. Railway preparations for Prayagraj Mahakumbh are in the final stages. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will go to Prayagraj on December 8. During this time, Railway Board CEO and Chairman Satish Kumar will also be present. Railway Minister will review the preparations of Railways for Mahakumbh 2025, after which PM Modi will inaugurate the Ganga Rail Bridge and Prayagraj-Varanasi Rail Track.

The railway budget for Mahakumbh 2025 is more than Rs 950 crore. Many bridges are being built with this budget and a new railway track has been built between Prayagraj-Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may come to Prayagraj on 13 December. During this time he will inaugurate the railway bridge.

In Mahakumbh 2025, the train between Prayagraj and Varanasi will run at a speed of 130 kilometers per hour. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Prayagraj-Varanasi rail track and the Ganga Rail Bridge. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav will inspect the projects during his visit to Prayagraj on December 8. Ganga Rail Bridge, CMP Rail Over Bridge and Jhunsi Rambagh double track are ready. The work of Ganga Rail Bridge and Prayagraj, Varanasi Rail Track Doubling has been done by RVNL, an organization of Indian Railways. The construction work of Ganga Bridge started in 2019 and trains will start running on it before Mahakumbh. The Ganga Rail Bridge connects Daraganj in Prayagraj to Jhunsi, which will replace the old Ijet Bridge.

200 trains pass daily

The rail over bridge near CMP Degree College in Prayagraj and the track between Jhunsi to Rambagh has also been doubled and connected to this rail line. About 200 trains pass through this track every day. This track will now increase the speed of trains between Delhi-Kolkata, Howrah and Prayagraj Kolkata, Prayagraj Gorakhpur and Prayagraj Patna.
