Training of RPF personnel in law workshop in Ranchi

Ranchi, June 16 (HS). A law workshop was organized on Sunday in the seminar hall of Hatia DRM building in the city. In the workshop, detailed information was given about the Indian Judicial Code, Indian Civil Defense Code and Indian Evidence Act. Along with this, RPF officers and staff of Ranchi division were given training on the amendments made in the old law.

In the workshop, Professor S Srivastava and Utkarsh Verma of Ranchi Law College and Advocate Pradeep Sarkar gave information to the RPF personnel. The workshop was chaired by Assistant Security Commissioner of Ranchi Division Ashok Kumar Singh. During the training, complete information was given about the aspects of the Indian Judicial Code, Indian Civil Defense Code and Indian Evidence Act. The new amendment in the law was approved on December 25, 2023, which is to be implemented across the country on July 1.
