Train will run between Hansi-Rohtak from today, PM Modi will give green signal through video conferencing

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the new Rohtak-Meham-Hansi railway line to the public on February 16 through video conferencing from Rewari. He will flag off the train for Rohtak-Mahim-Hansi-Hisar. This 68.5 km long railway line has been completed at a cost of about Rs 890 crore.

Rohtak DC Ajay Kumar said that Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries, Krishnapal Gurjar will participate as the chief guest in the local program organized at Rohtak railway station. The special guests of the program will be Lok Sabha member Dr. Arvind Sharma and former minister Manish Kumar Grover. There was no direct rail connectivity available between Rohtak and Hisar. Both these cities were indirectly connected to Bhiwani through Rohtak-Bhiwani and Bhiwani-Hansi-Hisar rail lines. On the New Railway Line Project, 141 minor and 6 major bridges have been constructed on the Rohtak-Mahim-Hansi New Railway Line with five crossing stations Dobh Bhali, Mokhara, Madina, Mahim, Mundhal Kalan and Garhi. Rohtak-Bhiwani and Hisar districts of the state will benefit from this railway line. The new railway line will provide direct rail connectivity between Rohtak and Hisar and reduce the distance between Rohtak-Hansi by about 20 km. The new train service will further improve the Indian Railways network in this region. The movement of residents here will become easier. This will only boost industrial and agricultural development in the area. Economic development will create employment opportunities in this area and tourism will also be promoted.
