Traffic to both villages halted due to rising water level of Betwa river | News India


Hamirpur, 12 September (HS). On Thursday, due to waterlogging in the culvert built in the drain on the way from Para village of Kurara development block area to Kandour village, traffic between the two villages has been blocked.

Due to the rain in the area for two days and the rising water level of the Betwa river, the water filled in the culvert going from Para village to Kandaur, and the traffic between the two villages has stopped. Village residents Mohan Singh Bhadoria, Anshu, Satyam etc. told that due to two days of rain and the rise in the water level of the Betwa river flowing below the village, water is flowing over the culvert built in the drain late in the evening. And the water is continuously rising. The traffic of the people of both the villages has stopped. Inter college, bank, etc. are operating in Para village, in which people and students travel from Kandaur to Para.
