Traffic system will change on Tuesday during Shri Krishna Janmashtami procession | News India

Jaipur, 26 August (HS). A procession will be organised on Tuesday evening to commemorate the Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival. The aarti of the procession is performed at the main places by saints, mahants and other dignitaries. During the procession, the traffic system of Jaipur city will be as follows.

The procession will leave from the premises of Govind Dev ji temple and pass through Jalebi Chowk- Bandarwal Gate- Badi Chaupad- Johri Bazaar- Sanganeri Gate- Bapu Bazaar- Newgate Square- Chowda Rasta- Tripolia Gate- Chhoti Chaupad- Chandpole Bazaar- Bagru Walon ka Road to reach the temple of Shri Gopinath ji.

Parking of all types of vehicles will be prohibited on the route of Shobha Yatra from 4 pm on Tuesday evening on Hawamahal Bazaar, Johari Bazaar, Bapu Bazaar, Chaura Rasta, Tripolia Bazaar, Chandpole Bazaar, Bagruwalon. Entry of tempo, mini/city buses and other medium category vehicles will be prohibited from Ghatgate Chauraha, Badi Chaupad, Ramgarh Mode, Sanganeri Gate, Ajmeri Gate, Sanjay Circle and Galta Gate into the fort. Mini/city buses going from Sanganeri Gate via Badi Chaupad will be able to go towards Amer via Ghat Gate, Transport Nagar, Delhi Bypass, Dhobi Ghat, Ramgarh Mode. Mini buses and city buses going from Sanjay Circle towards Ramganj and Amer will be able to go towards Amer via Sansar Chandra Road, M.I Road, Ghat Gate, Transport Nagar, Delhi Bypass, Dhobi Ghat, Ramgarh Mode. Before the procession reaches Bandarwal Gate, the general traffic coming from Subhash Chowk towards Badi Chaupad will be diverted from Subhash Chowk towards Char Darwaza, and the general traffic going from Badi Chaupad towards Subhash Chowk will be diverted from Badi Chaupad towards Ramganj Chaupad and Tripolia.

Before the procession reaches Badi Chaupad, the general traffic coming towards Badi Chaupad from Ramganj Chaupad, Sanganeri Gate and Tripolia will be diverted and operated through parallel routes. Before entering Bapu Bazaar, traffic will not be allowed to go towards Bapu Bazaar from New Gate. Similarly, before the next part of the procession reaches New Gate, no traffic of any kind will be allowed to come on the main road from Ramniwas Bagh Chauraha and Nehru Bazaar and Tripolia T Point.

Before the procession reaches Tripolia Gate, no traffic of any kind will be allowed to enter Tripolia Bazaar from Badi Chaupad towards Tripolia and from Chhoti Chaupad towards Tripolia T-Point.

Before the procession reaches Chhoti Chaupad, no traffic of any kind will be allowed from Ajmeri Gate to Chhoti Chaupad, Chaugan Square to Chhoti Chaupad and Sanjay Circle to Chhoti Chaupad. When the procession reaches Chandpole Bazaar, normal traffic movement will be prohibited on the Bagru route. The general public is appealed to use parallel routes during the said program.
