Ujjain, 4 December (Hindus). Traffic police has linked ITMS with NIC. Now every vehicle that violates traffic rules will be challaned. For this, 306 cameras have been installed by the traffic police across the city.
Giving information on Wednesday, Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma said that now immediate challan action will be taken against traffic violations in the city. This also includes over speeding, violation of red line at intersections and outside vehicles entering the city without following the time limit. SP Sharma said that under the Smart City Project, 306 cameras have been installed at various intersections and routes of Ujjain city, in which over speed detect cameras have been installed at 12 places and RLVD cameras have been installed at 16 places. Till now I.T.M.S. Through this, challan action could be taken only on the vehicles of the state. Now ITMS has been linked to NIC, through which challans can be made for vehicles outside the state also.
Now SP Pradeep Sharma along with the traffic police team, Additional Superintendent of Police Traffic Nitish Bhargava, Deputy Superintendent of Police Vikram Singh Kanpuria and Dilip Singh Parihar are sending SMS every day to the drivers violating traffic rules at the intersections of the city. And along with informing them by phone, the notice will also be served at their home. Vehicle owner U.M.C. Will be able to pay the fine through Seva app. The vehicle owners who do not pay the fine, the proceedings related to their vehicle and license will be blocked. Challans will also be issued daily against those who do not wear helmet, do not wear seat belt, over speed and red light violation. Through this action, efforts will be made to improve the traffic system of the city and reduce accidents.
