traffic Many times such cases related to police come to light which force one to think. One such case has come to light from Bihar. In fact, the e-challan system of the traffic police in Supaul, Bihar has become a cause of trouble for the common people. Mohammad Afroz Alam, a lower class clerk, faced trouble in getting the pollution certificate of his bike made as there was a pending e-challan of Rs 1,01,000 on his bike. Afroz told that on August 4, when he was riding a bike without a helmet, the traffic police took his photo at Degree College Chowk and issued a challan of Rs 1,000.
According to the local newspaper, Afroz got a shock when a message of an challan of Rs 1,01,000 came on his mobile. Afroz immediately lodged a complaint at the traffic police station, but until he got the information, the challan was not corrected. It is being told that this challan has been issued by SI Krishnabali Singh of the traffic police station. In this, a fine of Rs 1000 has been imposed for riding a bike without a helmet, while a total fine of Rs 100,000 has been imposed under different sections of the Transport Act.
Farooq told that he had bought his bike in 2014 for about Rs 65 thousand. In such a situation, the challan of Rs 1,01,000 is a big blow for them. District Transport Officer Shashi Shekharam called it a human mistake. He said that the challan is not entered by computer but by a human being. The person filing the challan may make a mistake. The section of violation is also written in the challan and the amount is written in the challan accordingly. If the fine is more than the provision of transport rules, it can be corrected later.
Challan even if helmet strip is not installed
Not wearing a helmet was already included in breaking the rules, but now not wearing a helmet properly has also been included in the traffic rules. Not only this, the traffic police is also issuing challan of Rs 1000 to 2000 for this. It is very important to wear a helmet before driving or sitting on a two-wheeler. In such a situation, whenever you wear a helmet, make sure that it is properly fixed on your head. After wearing the helmet, do not forget to apply a bandage on it. Many times people use helmets just to avoid challan. They don't apply bandages. Not only this, many people's helmets do not have a lock for the strap. Or it is broken. You may be issued a challan in all these situations.
