Traffic Advisory: Road repair work is going on in the national capital. Repair work is also going on on the road from Old Kakrola Road to Najafgarh. Due to this, from today till October 20, traffic will remain closed on the stretch from I&FC Tura Mandi Chowk to Shyam Vihar Chowk, Shyam Vihar Chowk to Najafgarh Drain due to repair work. Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory in this regard.
According to Delhi Traffic Police, people have been informed about traffic restrictions on this road due to repair work on this road. Also, they have been asked to use alternative routes instead of these roads. In this, passengers going from Najafgarh Tura Mandi to Dwarka should use the main Najafgarh-Uttam Nagar road till Dwarka turn or use the Najafgarh-Kapashera road to reach their destination.
Commuters going from Dwarka towards Tura Mandi Chowk, Najafgarh will have to go straight towards Old Palam Road to reach the main Uttam Nagar-Najafgarh Road. As per need, diversion will also be done from Shyam Vihar Chowk. Under repair, restrictions will be imposed as per requirement on limited or entire portion of the road.
Not only this, due to public meeting on the service road from Mukundpur Chowk to Burari, the service road will remain closed from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am on 6th October. In another advisory, Delhi Traffic Police has advised commuters to use the Outer Ring Road to reach Burari from Mukundpur Chowk.
