Ranchi, 15 April (HS). Changes have been made in the traffic system of Ranchi due to Ram Navami. Regarding this, Ranchi Traffic SP has issued information on Sunday night, in which evening tableaux for Ramnavmi on 16th April, main Shobha Yatra procession of Ramnavmi on 17th April and immersion program of Chaiti Durga Puja on 18th April are also scheduled. Changes have been made in the traffic system regarding this.
Traffic arrangements of 16th April
Entry of heavy vehicles in the urban area will be prohibited from 4 pm on Tuesday till 6 am on April 17. All types of heavy goods vehicles will operate through Ring Road till their destination. Whereas normal operations will be prohibited from Kishori Yadav Chowk towards Upper Bazaar, Mahavir Mandir Chowk, Shaheed Chowk towards Upper Bazaar, Mahabir Mandir Chowk and Subhash Chowk towards Upper Bazaar Mahavir Mandir Chowk.
Traffic arrangements for 17th April
Entry of heavy vehicles in the urban area will be prohibited from 8 am on April 17 to 4 am on April 18. All types of heavy goods vehicles will operate through the Ring Road to their destination. The operation of private and passenger vehicles has been changed on various routes from 1 pm till the end of the procession.
– Movement of normal vehicles from Kishori Yadav Chowk towards Upper Bazar Mahavir Mandir Chowk, from Shaheed Chowk towards Upper Bazar Mahavir Mandir Chowk and from Subhash Chowk towards Upper Bazar Mahavir Mandir Chowk will be prohibited.
– Entry of normal vehicles will be prohibited on the route from SSP Awas Chowk to Kachari Chowk, Shaheed Chowk.
-Vehicles coming from circular road will be able to reach Jail Chowk only and will operate on other routes from the same place.
-Entry of normal vehicles will be prohibited on the route from Zakir Hussain Park to Commissioner Chowk, Radium Chowk.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming towards Commissioner Chowk from the old Municipal Corporation office route will be prohibited.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming from Chadri Talab towards Albert Ekka Chowk will be prohibited.
– Movement of normal vehicles will be prohibited on the route from Plaza Chowk to Albert Ekka Chowk.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming from Purulia Road towards Sarjana Chowk will be prohibited.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming from SN Ganguly Road, Vishnu Gali, Budhiya Gali and Radheshyam Gali to the main road will be prohibited.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming from Church Road towards Main Road will be prohibited.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming towards the main road near UL House will be prohibited.
-The operation of normal vehicles coming from Karbala Chowk to Ratan PP will be prohibited.
– Movement of normal vehicles coming from PP Compound towards Sujata Chowk will be prohibited.
– Movement of vehicles from both sides will be prohibited in Chutia Bazaar Road.
– Movement of all types of normal vehicles will be prohibited from Rajendra Chowk towards Overbridge, Sujata Chowk.
-Normal traffic will be prohibited from Piska Mod towards Ratu Road New Market Chowk.
Traffic arrangements for April 18
Entry of heavy vehicles in urban areas will be prohibited from 8 am to 12 midnight on April 18. All types of heavy goods vehicles will operate through the Ring Road to their destination. Also, during Chaiti Durga immersion, the immersion route will be diverted as per requirement. On other routes of Ranchi city, traffic will be diverted as per requirement on the basis of Ram Navami Shobha Yatra and procession.
